劝郎莫上南高峰，
劝侬[1]莫上北高峰。
南高峰云北高雨，
云雨相催愁杀侬。
注释：
[1]侬：在古代旧诗文中多指我。

Do not ascend the Southern Peak, I pray, my dear!
Be sure I on the Northern Peak will not appear.
The one is veiled in cloud and the other in shower,
When will your cloud bring shower for my thirsty flower.[1]
