乔吉
肝肠百炼炉间铁，
富贵三更枕上蝶，
功名两字酒中蛇[1]。
尖风薄雪[2]，
残杯冷炙[3]，
掩青灯竹篱茅舍。
注释：
[1]肝肠百炼炉间铁，富贵三更枕上蝶，功名两字酒中蛇：意谓我的心思像钢铁一样坚定，富贵于我就像梦中的蝴蝶，功名于我如同杯弓蛇影，它们都是那么虚无缥缈，丝毫不能让我动心。
[2]薄雪：急雪。
[3]炙：烤熟的肉食。

Wealth and rank like butterfly once dreamed of,
Glory and fame but shadows in wine-cup.
Sharp wind and snowflakes down and up,
