山亭夏日

绿树阴浓[1]夏日长，
楼台倒影入池塘。
水晶帘[2]动微风起，
满架蔷薇一院香。

Gao Pian
The summer day’s as long as the green shade’s cool;
The pavilion casts its shadow into the pool.
The gentle breeze ripples the water crystal-clear,
The trellis of roses spreads fragrance far and near.
