前不见古人，
后不见来者。
念天地之悠悠[2]，
独怆然[3]而涕下。

[1]幽州：古十二州之一，现为北京市。
[2]悠悠：形容时间长久，空间广大。
[3]怆（chuànɡ）然：形容悲伤的样子。
