白云深处青山下，
茅庵草舍无冬夏。
闲来几句渔樵话[1]，
困来一枕葫芦架。
你省的也么哥[2]？
你省的也么哥？
煞强如风波[3]千丈
担惊怕。
注释：
[1]渔樵话：与渔夫和樵夫闲谈。
[2]也么哥：语助词，无意义。
[3]风波：指险恶的世道。

At Leisure

Deep in the mountain under the clouds white,
In thatched cot I fear nor summer nor winter night.
At leisure I talk with woodcutter and fishermen;
Drowsy, I sleep 'neath trellis of gourds now and then.

It's better than to rest in anxiety and fright
On waves high and low.
