式微式微，
胡不归？
微[2]君之故，
胡为乎中露？
式微式微，

微君之躬，
胡为乎泥中？
天色昏啊天将黑，
为什么却不回？
不是因为君主的缘故，
为什么全身遭受露水？
天色昏啊天将黑，
为什么却不回？
不是因为君主的身体，
为什么全身沾满着泥水？
