几场秋雨老[1]黄花，
不管离人怕[2]。
一曲哀弦泪双下，
放琵琶。
挑灯羞看围屏画，
声悲玉马，
愁新罗帕，
恨不到天涯[3]。
注释：
[1]老：使得……老。
[2]怕：忧愁。
[3]恨不到天涯：我恨不得追随你到天涯海角。

The autumn rains have oldened yellow flowers,
Careless of those in lonely bowers.
My tears stream down to hear the song played by sad strings,
Putting down the lute and turning on lamplight, I feel shy
To see the picture on the screen
And hear the bell of jade rings.
My grief has wetted the silk handkerchief green.
Why could I not go with you to the end of the sky?
