春情

平生不会相思，
才会相思，
便害相思。
身似浮云，
心如飞絮，
气若游丝。
空一缕余香在此，
盼千金游子何之？
证候[1]来时，
正是何时？
灯半昏时，
月半明时。
注释：
[1]证候：症候，意为相思袭来。

Lovesickness

In early life I knew not what lovesickness is.
When I begin to know a bit,
I fall heart and soul into a fit.
My body like cloud white,
My heart like willow down in flight,
Floating as gossamer light.
In vain a wreath of fragrance is left here.
When will my noble roamer reappear?
When comes my disease,
Can I know what time it is?
It comes by dim lamplight
When the moon is half bright.
