千年志，
一旦空。
唯有纸钱灰晚风吹送。
尽[1]蜀鹃血啼烟树中，
唤不回一场春梦[2]。
注释：
[1]尽：任凭。
[2]春梦：比喻繁华似锦的人生。

A thousand years later,
All will pass in laughter.
Only burnt paper money would waft in the breeze.
Though cuckoos cry out blood among the mist-veiled trees,
How could they retain
A vernal dream vain?
