小桃红
倪瓒
一江秋水澹寒烟[1]，
水影明如练。
眼底离愁数行雁。
雪晴天，
绿苹红蓼参差见。
吴歌[2]荡桨，
一声哀怨，
惊起白鸥眠。
注释：
[1]澹寒烟：水面上薄薄的雾气。
[2]吴歌：江南地区的民歌。

Ni Zan
On autumn stream pale smoke and cold mist rise,
With water crystal-clear and silk-white.
A few rows of wild geese bring parting grief to the eyes.
After snow the sunny sky's bright,
Green duckweed and red knotweed high and low appear.
The rower sings a Southern song on the stream,
So plaintive and so drear,
A white gull's startled from its dream.
