醉太平
 怀古

张可久

翩翩野舟，

泛泛沙鸥。

登临不尽古今愁，

白云去留。

凤凰台上青山旧[1]，

秋千墙里垂杨瘦[2]，

琵琶亭畔野花秋[3]。

长江自流。




注释：

[1]凤凰台上青山旧：失意怀古的诗仙已经逝去了，只有青山还像当年一样屹立在远处。李白天宝年间被放逐后，游历金陵，写下了《登金陵凤凰台》：“凤凰台上凤凰游，凤去台空江自流”，抒发自己的失意心情。

[2]秋千墙里垂杨瘦：苏轼在元丰年间，在被贬的途中写过《蝶恋花》：“墙里秋千墙外道，墙外行人，墙里佳人笑。”以佳人无情，比喻自己有报国心却不被重用。

[3]琵琶亭畔野花秋：用白居易作《琵琶行》一诗的典故。

A floating boat,

A gull carefree,

I climb the height with endless sorrow old and new,

White clouds linger with me.

From Phoenix Tower I find the changeless hills blue;

Beside the swing within the wall

The weeping willow slender grows;

Before the pavilion late autumn flowers fall,

But heedless, the endless river still flows.
