渭阳
我送舅氏，
曰至渭阳。
何以赠之？
路车乘黄。
我送舅氏，
悠悠我思[1]。
何以赠之？
琼瑰[2]玉佩。
我给舅舅送行，
送到渭水的北边。
拿什么送给他？
黄马大车表我心。
我给舅舅送行，
想念我的娘亲。
拿什么送给他？
美玉琼瑶表我心。

[1]This song was sung by Duke Kang of Qin in 635 B. C. while, heir-apparent of Qin, he escorted his uncle into the State of Jin where he became the famous Duke Wen after nine teen years’ refuge in Qin.
